A leading engineering company specializing in the manufacture of iron structures and industrial projects announces its need for a CNC plasma operator (plate cutting machine). The job location is Baghdad - Awerij. The responsibilities include operating and programming the CNC machine for cutting iron, reading and understanding engineering drawings and technical plans, adjusting cutting tools and speeds, ensuring the quality of dimensions and surface, checking the thickness of the plate and the dimensions of the layers, adhering to safety procedures and basic maintenance of the machine, and cooperating with the manufacturing and planning department to solve any technical problems. The qualifications and conditions include proven experience in operating and programming CNC machines, preferably in metals/iron, the ability to read engineering drawings and measure dimensions accurately, knowledge of CNC programs, accuracy, discipline, and adherence to work schedules. A technical certificate or training in operating CNC machines is preferred. Benefits include a suitable salary depending on experience, 9-hour working day from 8 am to 5 pm including a lunch break from 12 pm to 1 pm, and opportunities for training and professional development.
